After a refreshing drink at the bar, I wandered through the haunted building museum upstairs, taking in the historic charm of the small mountain town. The courtyard ambiance and delicious meal made for a memorable experience that I would recommend for anyone exploring Northern New Mexico.

Amazing steak and enchiladas. Delicious steak, well seasoned and cooked to order. Definitely will come back

I ordered the cheeseburger (to be cooked medium) with sweet potato fries. The very large burger was served on a delicious, buttery, dense potato bread bun and the fries were amazing! But that's the end of the positive things I have to say. The burger was cooked FAR beyond well-done. The meat may not have been beef at all, it was unidentifiable. Absolutely the driest and most tasteless, albeit salty (burger? patty) I have ever had. If I hadn't been famished I wouldn't have eaten a second bite. As it were, I managed three whole bites before giving up but enjoyed the sweet potato fries instead. In discussing this with my husband we determined that the burger patty in question was either cooked and rewarmed or recooked several times, left over from several days ago or just not made from beef at all. Out of five stars, I would give them one, for the fries.
