I visited Smoken for some boudain, moist brisket, and pulled pork this past weekend. The owner, Joaquin, was very friendly and even offered me a sample of his freshly smoked ribs, which were delicious. Despite being part of a gas station, the food quality and prices are excellent.

Kind of skeptical about eating at a restaurant in a gas station at first, but I was hungry and it is only 1 minute from my job. Had a rib sandwich yesterday and pulled pork today. Both extremely tender and quite tasty. Good rich smokey flavor. Reasonably priced $ 5.00, nice portions. Pleasant surprise in the hood.
