Driving into Coalgate, Oklahoma, I stopped at Gonzales Mexican Restaurant for lunch and was impressed by the authentic Tex-Mex and traditional Mexican dishes they offered. I tried the Michuacan with tri-colored enchiladas, which was flavorful and well-seasoned, though the cheese enchilada was a bit chewy. The service was fast and friendly, the dining room comfortable, and the overall experience made me want to come back next time I'm in town.

Portions of sour cream and guacamole were very small. we did not finish our meals. Fajitas were very small amount of meat, which was disappointed when it came out . and then the meat did not taste fresh 🥲
