Settling in outside with a strong cocktail and people-watching, I found the Carthay Circle Lounge to offer a festive, old Hollywood ambiance, excellent service, and flavorful, though often smaller, dishes like the crab cakes and chicken meatballs, with a walk-up waitlist that requires persistence due to Disney's reservation system, making it a worthwhile and relaxing retreat amid the park's chaos.
