The Sugar Shack on US385 south of Deadwood, SD, delivers juicy, flavorful burgers that perfectly capture the essence of classic, no-frills comfort food. Each visit brings fresh, satisfying meals served quickly by friendly staff, whether you're indulging in oversized pancakes at breakfast or savoring their famous Friday fish fry. With a welcoming, laid-back atmosphere surrounded by the beauty of the Black Hills, it's an experience that keeps me coming back again and again.

There's this awesome burger joint down south of Deadwood, called The Sugar Shack on US385. The food is always on point and the place has a cool vibe with lots of locals hanging out. Even though it burned down in December 2023, the owner is talking about rebuilding, which is great news. The breakfast is amazing, especially the pancakes, and they do a killer Fish Fry on Fridays too!
