Speaking at the United Negro College Fund's annual conference offered me the chance to stay in a beautiful hotel with kind staff and a stunning river view that made the business trip feel unexpectedly serene. Despite a few quirks like slow wifi and an elevator outage, the comfortable beds, welcoming atmosphere, and delicious dining left a lasting impression that calls me back whenever I visit Jacksonville.
