I discovered a charming restaurant and bar in Walton that exceeded my expectations. The Prime Rib Sandwich was delicious, and my wife's chicken strips were enormous and flavorful.

I have been lucky enough to have enjoyed many meals at the Walton Tap since 1978. So far, I have never had a bad meal there. The friend chicken is without equal and never greasy...the menu items for appetizers should appeal to about anyone's imagination....and except for the summertime, they serve homemade soups as well. These soups include chili, stuffed green pepper, reuben and so forth - whatever inspires the chef for that week. The staff works hard to please their customers. And for those who would like to test out Lady Luck, there are also slot machines there to challenge a person. This is family owned and not a part of a national chain...the tap that makes Walton famous! They also have a decent sized banquet room as well as an outdoor deck. Parties, funeral luncheons and other celebrations are welcome to contact them.
