Great hangout on weekends! Naughty bingo is fun on Wednesdays. Great live music. This is a great spot to hangout with a bunch of people. Great drink is and food is good. Taco Thursdays are really good. Holy cow! The chicken fried steak is massive and the staff is awesome! If you love an awesome Bloody Mary, this is the spot. The staff is super friendly and offer amazing service. Worth the drive for sure! The wife and I have driven past this place for years. From the outside, it looks like a typical bar. Don't let the outside fool you. We decided to hit up the Stump on a Sunday morning for Breakfast. The inside looks more like the outside. Again, don't let that steer you away. We ordered the Eggs Benedict and chicken fried steak. Was pleased with the results of the meals. Eggs Benedict was just as good as any we've tried before. The big foot Chicken Fried steak was delicious and fork tender. The eggs were prepared perfect for both plates. I could of used more gravy on my steak, but other than that, it was delicious. Again, the BAR, isn't most appealing for some folks, but if you can look past the years, it's a great spot to fill your need for breakfast. I cannot vouch for lunch or dinner, but would recommend the breakfast. We stopped by the Cedar Stump on a whim and enjoyed this little hole in the wall oasis! We caught the last bit of sunshine on their back patio and had the very best Cobb Salad. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxing and fun! Just had a late breakfast this morning and guys and gals I gotta tell ya, the food oh my goodness was delicious, the service was excellent (personable young lady). Way more food than I could possibly eat in one sitting. I had the frittata but was it ever good. Come on out to Smokey Point and enjoy. While working out of town, i asked about places to eat around where I'm staying. The Cedar Stump was recommended for their food and adult beverages. I've been there three times (so far) for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And every meal has been great. Their breakfasts are fresh, large portion meals that get it done. Had their chili for lunch and normally I've found either meat w/out beans or beans and no meat - their chili had both and is made with prime rib. Dinners are also full scale meals. The staff is very accommodating and even the chef asks how your enjoying your meal. Worth the visit if you're in Arlington, Washington or near there. One of the best breakfast burrito's around! Service was wonderful and the atmosphere nice. First time here for breakfast, I had the prime rib frittata and husband had the chicken fried steak. They were both amazing! Shredded hash browns and country potatoes both cooked perfectly. Bloody Mary's were good. They charged $2.50 for using a card, which I find ridiculous. Yeah, this is a redneck looking establishment. We've been here twice for breakfast while in the Arlington area. Both times we were pleasantly surprised. The prime rib scramble is delish, hashbrowns crisp & plentiful and thick marble rye toast. Both my husband & I took home half our meals for lunch. Looks like a nice outback seating & party area. A bit rustic with pool table, wood carvings, band stage, a couple poles in case you get the urge to pole dance! Friendly, happy servers, kid friendly till 9pm. I imagine the place really rocks at night, alas, I'll never know...we're past our prime. We'll definitely be back when in the area for breakfast, our go to meal. I read some of the negative reviews left for this place and realized that folks seemed to think they were getting a slick sports bar or a healthy meal options environment. Egad. One can locate that anywhere! The Cedar Stump's combination of wonderfully juicy/greasy burgers, perfectly crispy tater tots, no-nonsense drinks, and comfy, down-at-the-heels roadside bar ambience is getting harder and harder to find. Yes, it smells a bit musty. Yes, my high school boyfriend's basement bedroom was decorated the same way. No, they don't serve you with a false smile. They don't have to. They're perfectly what they are, the way they are. Please don't change, Cedar Stump! The food is delish and service was wonderful. The portions on the meals were alot more than expected for the price. They are a cash only establishment but have an ATM on site which is always available. I have went there for breakfast and for dinners ad have never been disappointed. I recommend this place to all my friends and family.
