I've found a local pub with a pleasant atmosphere where conversation isn't drowned out by loud crowds, and the menu offers more than just basic bar food and beers. The food is homemade and flavorful, with highlights like fish and chips, steak mac and cheese, and excellent potato skins, while the staff is friendly and attentive, making visits enjoyable even with a service dog. Although smoking is allowed, which might not suit everyone, the overall experience has been positive, with good drinks, fair prices, and fun events like trivia nights.
