This family-owned cafe offers a warm, down-home atmosphere with charming farmhouse antiques and a friendly, attentive staff who make dining enjoyable. Their menu features a wide selection of breakfast and lunch items, including perfectly cooked steak and eggs, homemade soups, and fresh daily pies, all at reasonable prices. Whether dining in or using the convenient drive-thru for phone orders, the service remains consistent, making it a reliable choice for casual meals any time of day.

I discovered a charming family-owned cafí© that quickly became my go-to for a quick meal or sandwich any time of day. The service is always friendly, and I appreciate how they get my phoned-in orders right every time, making drive-thru pickups a breeze. While I've had a couple of mishaps with certain dishes, the warm atmosphere, attentive staff, and delicious breakfast options keep me coming back for more.

Best food and service

Some friends and I went to Hometown Restaurant today. Ordered a senior plate-two mini pancakes and two strips of bacon with coffee. Pancakes were huge. Unfortunately, they were the absolute WORST pancakes I have ever eaten in my life. It's as if there was no leavening agent in them, making them like wet cement, rather than light and fluffy, like a good pancake should be. Coffee was rather tasteless. The waitress brought our food, but didn't bother coming back to check if we needed anything for at least 30 minutes. Well, by that time we were done eating, so what's the point of coming back? I did get a piece of banana cream pie to take home. That, too, was pretty awful. We will never go back. (P.S. the bacon was actually good, for what it's worth.)
