We needed a last minute basket for a family around Christmas. They were incredibly accommodating despite the last minute request. Wine Cellar made and delivered a gorgeous basket for our dear friends! We wanted to try a wine for my birthday and thought maybe this store will have the wine I always drink. We walked in and found different wines, and the owner showed me one moscato which is very popular. So I said sure why not. We were looking at other items and they had other things like cups, wine glasses, napkins, etc. My bestie purchased soap which was highly recommended by her. So we came home and tried it and it was so good. I was so happy and even my bestie who doesn't like wine loved it. So we came back Wednesday morning and the owner called us the moscato ladies lol. I bought two bottles that day and thanked them for the recommendation. If you are even in Charleston definitely check this place out, the owners are amazing and very down to earth. I love shopping at the Wine Cellar! Friendly and knowledgeable staff. I enjoy being a part of their wine club and they have an amazing selection of gifts and bar wares. The fact that they are locally owned is icing on the cake. Great wine, good company, and a learning atmosphere where you come in as a wine novice and in a short time become a wine connoisseur! It is more than just a wine store; it is a social outlet where people in the community come together and socialize. Trying new wines while making new friends! Great wines at great prices. They have multiple wine tastings throughout the week and even have a few small bites. Great place to grab a gift for that "hard to shop for person". Their new location next to the movie theatre makes a great afternoon for wine and people watching. A usual weekly place for a nice glass or bottle of vino with great staff. Try it out on your next trip to Towne Center.
