Recently my son and I had reason to be in Mahaffey. We had the dinner special NY strip steak. It was cooked correctly, served quickly and tasted good. Their prices were reasonable. I will eat there again!

Restaurant has new owners. Mind you, this is a very small community with only two restaurants. Next closest restaurant is approximately 20 miles away. So the new owners come in and have done what anyone would do when wanting to make money. They have raised the prices and made the potion sizes smaller!! Now I can't wait to go eat at this restaurant!!. I love spending more money for less food!! Also, the previous owners had free Wi-Fi which was an awesome feature to have in this small community. Now the new owners have no intention of providing this service. Again, another awesome reason why this has become my new favorite restaurant. My father use to tell me that when you need something, try to support your local community and make your purchases local. This will be one time that I DO NOT listen to my father!! It is great customer service when you buy a product and the first thing you do is raise the prices and lessen the item that is being purchased. The Wi-Fi was just an added benefit which the new owners obviously do not care about or how it helped bring business into this small community. Oh well, Good luck to the new owners. My hard earned money will be spent elsewhere.
