Just left the Lamp Post. Must say the food was mediocre. I ordered a full portion of cheese bacon fries and there was a very, I mean VERY extremely skimpy amount of cheese. Ate Just a few fries as I would not have ordered had I known they would be plain. Will add Cheez Whiz to then at home.

The diner I visited had the best biscuits and gravy at a reasonable price, with fast service and delicious food. The atmosphere was family-friendly, and the menu offered great options for everyone's taste preferences.

Large portions so my wife and I can split them. Best overall meals for us. At least once a week. Always have some leftover for later. There is a reason this place has been open so many years while others have come and gone.
