This is a family owned restaurant that serve's home cooked food. We love the people and the food. Every time the grandsons come for a visit they ask, can we go to Whiteway? It's all of our favorite place.

Great country cooking. I can’t believe some rate the Whiteway less than a five star. My first stop every time I go to Roan Mountain.

Love this restaurant! The food here is amazing with hearty portions and the staff are all wonderful and super friendly people. This is a must stop when passing by, you will be glad you did. I have loved everything I’ve tried there, with my favorites being their Biscuits and gravy for breakfast, and the Philly cheese steak and the Club sandwiches are out of this world delicious. A very enjoyable atmosphere all together!

Staff is amazing, friendly and helpful ..they treat everyone like family! Can't say enough good things about it!!!
