Friday evening was bustling with locals enjoying endless fried fish and generous sides, with the kitchen continuously delivering fresh plates to our table of five. The next morning, a cozy family-run diner with friendly service and hearty breakfasts, including homemade bread and large portions, offered a comforting taste reminiscent of home-cooked meals, making it an ideal stop when visiting the area.

Friday evening was bustling with locals at Wedgewing, a charming family restaurant just over six miles from Mohican Lodge. We indulged in all-you-can-eat fried fish with two sides, and the staff kept the fish coming for our group of five. Despite the lackluster coffee, the breakfasts were delicious, with large portions and a hometown feel that left us eager to return for another meal, sans coffee.
