After Vons on Desert Inn shut down, I gave Albertsons on Ft Apache a try but quickly upgraded to this Smiths, where the produce is fresher, the deli is boss-level, and the seafood section actually makes me excited to cook. The only drama? The checkout lines feel like a bad reality show with just one lane open and a never-ending self-checkout line, but shout out to the super-friendly staff who make shopping here a breeze despite the chaos.

I have been shopping at Vons on Dessert Inn for the last 5 years until it closed recently. I tried the Albertsons on Ft Apache but found it to be just okay, so I settled on this Smiths instead. The produce here is of far better quality, with a good variety of fresh and visually appealing items available. The deli is also superior to both Vons and Albertsons, with excellent Boars Head meats and cheeses.
