I tried the smothered turkey chops and found one to be mostly bones with little meat, and the other slightly undercooked. However, the seasonings on the macaroni and turnips were excellent, with a nice kick of flavor. The fried catfish dinner with collard greens, yams, and mashed potatoes exceeded my expectations, and the quick service was a pleasant surprise. Overall, Southern Smokehouse is a solid choice for down-home barbecue and soul food.

I purchased the turkey tips, the only tip of a turkey is the wing tip, but I received turkey pieces in a bar b q sauce. You need to change the name to Turkey pieces the name turkey tip is misleading
