When driving from New Jersey to Florida Gwen&Franny's we plan our meals around a required stop here. All the food is cooked to order and always is delicious. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean. We've eaten in and done take out. Both were excellent. The chicken is the best around and all the sides are good but I especially love the Mac n cheese and collard greens. You won't be disappointed with this choice.

My husband and I were on our way to Florida and stopped in Hardeeville, SC for the night. We wanted bbq for dinner. In our room was a paper with names of close restaurants and we picked Gwen & Fanny's. Wow, what a delicious dinner. We both got fried chicken with baked and green beans and peach cobbler for dessert. What a great experience !!! Service was quick and very friendly and we got our meals to go without much of a wait. While we waited we struck up conversations with the other people in the restaurant, very nice!!! The restaurant is small, clean, friendly and the food was DELICIOUS !!! Thank you to Gwen & Franny's

The most delicious chicken around. We travel there just to enjoy their meals. Cooked fresh while you wait. So good!!!!!
