During my recent experience ordering food, I encountered some frustration due to a lengthy hold time after calling ahead. While the service could use improvement, the quality of the dishes is consistently impressive, especially the fried plantain and the flavorful legumes that pair perfectly with rice. Despite the hiccup, the generous portions and delicious offerings, like the well-seasoned red snapper, make it a fantastic choice for a satisfying meal.

The food here is truly exceptional, with flavors that remind me of home-cooked meals. I particularly love the fried plantain and chicken in sauce, which tastes like something my mom would make. While the customer service could be better, the delicious offerings make it worth the visit, especially if you find yourself in the Hyde Park or Mattapan area.
