After trying various Chinese restaurants in Greene and Binghamton with disappointing results, I discovered China Star, where the food is exceptional-comparable to the best I've had on Long Island. Despite the slightly worn appearance, the friendly staff, large portions, and fresh ingredients make this restaurant a worthwhile choice, especially when you consider the unbeatable value for lunch.

In a last-ditch effort, I discovered China Star, where the food truly shines with freshness and flavor, reminding me of the best offerings from Long Island. Despite its unassuming appearance and the drive of over 30 minutes, the warm service and generous portions make every visit worthwhile, especially when indulging in standout dishes like sweet and sour chicken and Schezuan beef.
