The food at Joy Wok is consistently flavorful and satisfying. The friendly staff and reasonable prices make it a great choice for delicious Chinese takeout in the area.

I love good Chinese food. This place is NOT GOOD! Since the new guys took over the food has gotten more expensive and less proportional. Purchased 2 MooGooGai Pans combos. 80 percent rice with a few veggies and chicken thrown on top to hide the amount of cheap rice!!!
House fried rice horrible. Stripped of the chicken, beef and shrimp they used to put in. This restaurant is the only game in town. They are capitalizing on that with high prices and mediocre food.
KEEP FAR AWAY!! Better to drive a little more than spend your money here!!

ALWAYS such a pleasure to order from here. Staff is friendly, smiling, and always pleasant. The food is top notch and never a dissapointment no matter which day or what time of day we stop by. Well worth the 1/2 hour drive one way from Lake Lure.!!!
