This small restaurant in California City offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with a friendly staff who always make you feel like a valued customer. While the sushi may be hit or miss in terms of consistency, their fried rice stands out as a must-try dish that is consistently delicious.

I was leary about eating sushi from a restaurant in the middle of the desert where even a McDonalds is fairly new. But, to my surprise, this little hidden gem has great sushi. Some of the rolls don't have a description so you'll have to ask what's in them, but the few I've had a delicious.

Stupid good sushi. Considering this town is the middle of nowhere, food here is surprisingly good.
