Each year, I embark on a journey to savor the authentic Honduran flavors that can be so elusive. This past visit brought me back to Azteca Maya, where I indulged in a classic Pollo Chuco, its perfectly seasoned chicken and crispy plantains creating a symphony of taste. The warmth of the owner, who remembers me despite our infrequent visits, adds to the charm of this charming eatery that never fails to impress.

I love going to this hidden spot once a year for some delicious Hondurian food that's hard to find elsewhere. The Christmas season is extra special here because you can order authentic Hondurian tamales that are juicy, tasty, and filling. The owner is super friendly and always takes our large order without any issues.
