The food is always hot and the service is friendly and attentive without being intrusive. After trying nearly every Mexican restaurant in Decatur, Cullman, and Hartselle, I can confidently say that El Portal #1 has the best cheese dip and generous portions of flavorful meat and grilled veggies around.

The food at El Portal #1 is always on point - hot and delicious. The service is super friendly and they make sure you have everything you need without being too pushy. The ambiance is pretty simple, nothing fancy, but the best Mexican food in town!
