Living in Gilroy for the past 15 years has allowed me to discover the hidden culinary treasure that is El Grullense. Despite the mixed reviews online, my personal encounters have always been met with exceptional food and service; they even remember my order like it's a secret handshake. While I may not be fluent in Spanish like most locals, I'm slowly adding it to my growing list of languages because good food is a universal language that I'm always eager to speak. The homemade tortillas, carne asada, and vibrant salsa are just a few reasons why this taqueria has become a staple in my weekly dining adventures.
