I can't wait to return to El Paso for those incredible Flautilocas! The simple mom-and-pop restaurant offers limited options, but the potato flautas with spicy salsa, crema, and fresh veggies take me back to my grandma's cooking. My husband and I, both vegetarians, make it a point to enjoy the flautas at least once every two weeks, and they never fail to impress, reminding me of the authentic flavors from Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.

These flautas are the bomb! They taste straight out of a 1970s Street kermes! Very traditional! The rice and beans taste straight out of your abuelita's cocina- Full of traditional Mexican flavor!
