My boyfriend and I used to frequent La Chiquita often when he lived in this neighborhood. After being invited to a Superbowl party nearby, we revisited the store and were pleasantly surprised by its upscale remodel and welcoming deli area that exuded a warm, family atmosphere. We enjoyed some Superbowl snacks like guacamole and tuna salad, as well as a delicious pre-prepared pizza-looking sope, making us wish we lived closer to this gem of a store.
