Maxine's has saved me on countless hungry nights with its fresh, flavorful soul food that's always made to order. I love calling ahead so my meal is ready when I arrive, especially the crispy whiting and well-seasoned fried chicken, which never disappoint. The collard greens, macaroni and cheese, and potato salad are favorites that keep me coming back for more, all at a price that feels just right.

The food was horrible, the mac and cheese was freezer burn and mushy. The fried chicken was raw pink in side. The string beans was so greasy. Who doe that I will never ever eat from there no disrespect but the food made me sick.
