Driving through a sketchy strip mall to reach this soul food restaurant felt like stepping into a different world, where the bulletproof drive-through door hinted at the neighborhood's rough edges. The meal arrived generous and hearty, with dense meatloaf smothered in brown gravy, smooth mashed potatoes with a unique twist, and a thick peach cobbler that lingered long after the last bite. Though it doesn't quite reach the soulful perfection of old Southern home cooking, the fresh, flavorful dishes and warm service make it a comforting haven worth returning to.

love the greens and catfish..... my husband love the breakfast,,,,, best soul food highly recommend this kitchen...

The burgers are great haven't tried anything else on the menu and the onion rings are very good too so other than burgers and onion rings I don't know but I did hear the fried green tomatoes are good as well but I cannot attest to it cuz I haven't tried it

Tried this place for the first time. This is not authentic soul food. Didn't smell any good cooking when I walked through the door but decided to give it a try. The salmon patties I ordered were overcooked and had no seasoning whatsoever. The dressing, yams and cornbread were awful as well. I saved the peach cobbler dessert for last and was looking forward to a treat. Needless to say this was awful as well. Save your money and go to Perkins Soul Food, Nino's, Bungalow or Daddy's Soul Food.
