The Merc is an awesome spot in Sacramento with strong, reasonably priced drinks and a super welcoming, queer-friendly vibe. The bartenders are friendly and fast, and the music is always great, with a jukebox system that lets you pick your own tunes. It's cash only, but they have ATMs right at the entrance, and the outdoor patio is perfect for chill hangouts with friends before heading out for the night.
