I enjoyed drinks with my family at Bambu in San Mateo, favoring it over the Union City location due to the welcoming service and the delicious Smashed Avocado Che. While the drinks were satisfying and the menu extensive, the service from one staff member was a downside, contrasting with the otherwise positive experience.

Visited Bambu in San Mateo with my family to compare it to our usual spot in Union City, and it definitely won our vote. The cashier greeted us warmly, provided great service, and was patient with our indecisiveness. Despite the slight wait and an abrupt interaction with one staff member, our drinks were delicious and satisfying, especially the passion fruit basil seed tea and Halo Halo dessert. Consider giving Bambu in San Mateo a try if you're in the area for a unique and flavorful boba tea experience.
