All wrapped up, warm, and looking delicious on this lazy Sunday. Established in 1949, this local legend titles itself as the oldest originally owned family Mexican restaurant in San Antonio. Did you know that? I sure didn't. But after eating here, I see how they've stuck around this long. I went with the mixed fajitas (chicken & beef) and wifey got the puffy tacos, along with a couple Margaritas and a side of Queso. Kids got their Bacon & Egg tacos as usual. Everything was yummy but I'll def go back to sit and eat so I can experience everything fresh and crispy. They did have THE best tortillas that made my fajitas plate that much better. Give them a shot some time soon. And when you do, let them know Angel Food Dude sent you. Our waitress was great all around!! Drinks were very good and the chicken fajitas were on point for sure. The cheese enchiladas weren't my fav so probably wouldn't order those again but besides that 10/10. We had an excellent meal here with a big group. It was busy but our waiter made us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant. Never a glass empty or a request not filled. Everyone enjoyed their meal.
