Rather expensive for what you get. Ice cream qualitl ess then expected.

Our motorcycle group stopped at the Ice Cream Stand for a cool treat today. They had special procedures in place due to Covid consisting of driving your car to the cash register, ordering, paying and then pulling ahead to wait for your ice cream to be brought to your car. As we pulled in on our motorcycles, we parked to the side and asked if it was okay to walk up and order. We were told yes. There were no other cars at the time, so we all put on our masks and walked over to the register, ordered and waited for our ice cream. Once we had it, they stated we could not stand by the building (in its shade) so we went back to our bikes. Then they told us we had to leave the premises to eat it. This is the second day of open outdoor seating for Albany county, and you can not take an ice cream cone on a motorcycle. Not even a half mile up the road as they suggested. They should have told us we were not welcome to stay BEFORE they took our money and made us cones....There is no reason we should have been asked to leave, and no reason people can't sit parked in their cars to enjoy their treats either. NOT BiKER friendly, will NOT go Back!
