We found ourselves at Jody's unexpectedly on a Monday evening, and the quiet outdoor seating under a gentle breeze made for a perfect setting, with bugs mysteriously absent as we savored hot, crisp fish and fresh summer tomatoes. The welcoming staff managed our varied orders flawlessly, and every dish-from the tender smothered grilled chicken to the perfectly seasoned baked potatoes-was a flavorful testament to thoughtful preparation that will draw me back on future visits.

Ended up at Jody's after finding many of our usual spots closed on a Monday, and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise. The outdoor seating was perfect, and we were pleasantly surprised that the bugs didn't bother us. The fish dishes we ordered, blue gill and perch, were absolutely delicious, accompanied by fresh salads and perfectly ripe tomatoes. Jody's will definitely become a staple for us on future trips, rather than just a last-minute choice.
