The one-hour drive to Flyboys restaurant from Salina was well worth it, especially since we encountered no wait upon arrival around 7 PM, despite a full house. The atmosphere was inviting, featuring aviation-themed decor and a comfortable setting that fostered easy conversation. Our meals were exceptional, with the Chicken Fried Steak and Beef Stroganoff standing out for their quality and flavor, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to using locally sourced ingredients.

We made the decision to drive an hour to Flyboys restaurant from Salina, without a reservation, and were pleasantly surprised by the lack of wait time. The atmosphere was charming, the food was exceptional, and the service was impressive, making it a worthwhile dining experience that we would gladly repeat.
