The food at Homers is just like home cooking, and the service is always friendly. The fried pickles are a must-try, and the southern dishes like chicken & dumplings are spot on. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff always make you feel at home.

All of their food except for breakfast tastes like crisp, but they should hang their heads in shame over there pick up orders during this pandemic.
I have eaten there often on for about three years now. When I eat inside I would order the nacho supreme and got an enormous tall tasty stack of nachos and cheese and peppers and ground beef, but if you order it to be picked up now you get a minuscule portion that's not in balance and it just simply doesn't taste good.
But the worst is this.
Are used to love to go inside for strawberry shortcake. You would get a bowl with a large piece of poundcake on the bottom, then a layer of mashed up strawberries, then two or three scoops of vanilla ice cream with mashed up strawberry spread over that and then a dollop of whipped cream to top it off.
I called last week and learned that they are serving strawberry shortcake again so I ordered one for carry out. When I got home I was embarrassed for them. The container held a small piece of pound cake, 3 strawberries, and a tiny squirt of whip cream.
What a rip off scammer of a restaurant they are. They've seen me for the last time.
