While passing through Branson, MO, I stopped at Big D Bbq just before closing and was impressed by the friendly, attentive staff and the exceptional, fresh, and flavorful barbecue. The rustic atmosphere added to the experience, and despite it being busy and some items unavailable, the brisket, ribs, smoked mac and cheese, and sides like pit beans and pickles all exceeded my expectations, making me eager to return.
