I was looking for dinner and found this awesome Indian restaurant with a chill vibe and a solid beer selection. I tried the Chicken Tikka Tandoori and it was so good that I polished off every bite. The portions were generous, the service was friendly, and the outdoor patio was a nice touch for a relaxing meal.

Very overpriced. Small portions. We were told it would be ready in a half hour, but when we got there we waited an extra half hour. We asked for the most spicy option for all 3 of our dishes, but none were spicy whatsoever.

We've given this place three chances: the first time was way too spicy and missing part of our order, the second time was good with the mains but missing all the rice and sides, the third time was way too spicy despite asking for mild. It's expensive and we've yet to have a good meal. It's too bad because we love Indian food. Will not recommend.

No time right now to write a proper, detailed, lengthy review (I will soon), but I just wanted to pipe in and say that last night we had our first meal at India Masala House. It was easily some of the best Indian food we've ever had. Fresh, full of flavor, lost of choices, a very friendly owner, and overall an OMG kind of meal. We live not far away, and I suspect we'll be spending indefensible amounts of money here. Brattleboro really needed an Indian restaurant, and this one should fit the bill. We just have to show up and make sure it stays there! The place could use some decorations, maybe some plants (it's a huge space to fill) and has just barely gotten launched, so cut them some slack on the little stuff. But if you like exceptional Indian food, this is the place.
