Went today visiting off one of the "Dam" boats and had the Crab Mac & Cheese Boats, the Reindeer Ruben, and a BaconJam Burger! Holy Moses this was the best food we have had our whole trip. Jo (the owner/chef was incredibly busy, the line was LONG but when it was our turn she was sweet as can be apologized for the long wait. We didn't care! As the food came out quick ANS super super yummy! We wanted to take her with us back to the boat! Lol. It is that good! The Crab Mac was gooey home made white cheddar Mac n cheese topped with a ton of Alaskan KING and Dungy Crab Meat. Oh wow, then our Bacon Jam Burger had brown mustard, mayo, lettuce Swiss and Chedar cheese, then topped with a Maple Burbon Bacon Jam (and not from a jar). Out of this world. Kraut, Swiss cheese and house made 1000 lsle lovers would fall in love with the Reindeer Rubem! So worth the WAIT, so delish and our whole family would totally recommend Jo's Downtown Dawgs! Make sure to try the Reindeer Reuben at Jo's - it's an absolute must! The combination of Reuben kraut, cheese, dressing, and caramelized onions is simply divine. I wish I could have more of it, but my visit was short-lived. Trust me, you won't regret indulging in this mouthwatering sausage.

Ok so who puts premium Alaskan King Crab on a burger to make it seem like an ICONIC Steakhouse treat? This gal does and it's called her NEW OSCAR BURGER. Nice Beef patty with Alaskan King Crab on top, smothered with hollandaise sauce, lettuce on the bun AND served with these garlicky herb roasted potatoes. This was amazing! Priced up there but worth every bite!! We wanted more and then the NEW CRAB MAC N CHEESE. OMG"¦..Cheesy, hot, loaded with king and Dungy crab ritz crumble on top. Just give me a FORK and napkin please! There's also a Java Buzz Beef Chili for the burgers and brats this year. Can we please move here or take Jo with us. It was THAT GOOD!

Stopped by this cart to experience what we heard were the BEST SMASH BURGERS in town and WOW! We had the Guido Burger Special (pepper pastrami, swiss, grilled onions and this really yummy brown mustard on a brioche roll) We were so blown away of how fast this chick gets her food out! The burger was even better than what we had heard they were. Working by herself she still wowed us all (5 of us) and we were extremely ok with waiting for the delishious juicy burgers. We saw a lady come and get her food ahead of us without waiting. Chef Jo as she introduced herself said "the locals" pre order so they don't have to wait! Genius! Highly recommend this food cart although her hours/days are limited. The best food we had downtown after spending over 200 bucks to eat inside a pub restaurant. Lesson Learned. She even mentioned that since there is no seating we could take our burgers to the local saloon Ernie's where Pete the bartender poured us a great Alaska cold beer. Perfect experience!

Had lunch at this cart during the Rainy Day Bizarre. WOW...This girl is amazing and her dogs are even more so. We were shocked how fast the food comes out and didn't have to wait hardly at all. The Mac dog was to die for. Will be coming for lunch this summer

Our group stopped by for some of these famed dogs. The menu looks so good we wanted to try them ALL. So WE DID! Chef Jo was kind enough to cut them for us so we could pass different bites to each other. They are outstanding, inexpensive for the large portions and the girls/chef's working here are quite knowledgeable of local pubs/shops, etc.....During our 3 day fishing trip we managed to come twice both visits superb! Looking to come see the gals and have there dawgs this summer!!! Don't pass this place by!

This cart is famed for it's Mighty Mac & Cheese Reindeer Dawg and will open late May for the summer season....Can't wait!
