I first visited Cafe Mooney Bay almost 25 years ago. On the menu was a dish named Shrimp Madagascar. An absolutely delectable dish. I’ve never forgotten it. Such a great memory.

Cafe Mooney Bay has made a remarkable comeback as a fantastic waterfront dining option. The food was delicious with standout dishes like the Lobster salad, Seafood Saute, and Stuffed Shells, although the Scallop casserole fell short. Despite a slight interior odor, the beautiful setting overlooking the marina and Lake Champlain, coupled with attentive service, make it a worthwhile dining destination in the Plattsburgh area.
