Sorry, but this was not a great experience! My wife, after a very long wait, got a beautiful veal schnitzel! But it was terrible! It looked good but was tough as shoe leather. Worse, when I tried to cut it, it was really tough and to make matters worse, it had a bad odor!!!
The service was very slow and there weren't a lot of people eating, so she declined his offer to replace the order. My schnitzel was OK, nothing special. I had pork. We and our dinner partners were not impressed. They didn't charge, but she had no dinner.
Not fun!

I ordered a pork schnitzel and it was tough and over cooked, more bread than meat. Not impressed. The service was mediocre at best. Never did get my drink refill to wash down the dry schnitzel. The place had no German feel to it. It was like walking into any other restaurant . Not impressed? Not going back? Do not recommend. Much better German food found else where locally.

Very bad dining experience and I lived in germany for over 5 years.
Server was nice but I have to honestly review food,ambience and experience.
Ambience not welcoming.Felt a little bit like a fast food place or diner next to the street with red plastic tablecloths.
came here on a friday night and it took a long time for the food to come out.When it finally arrived my wife and me had schnitzel and both were really dry and tasted like breaded hours before.
Both of us didn't like it and had better and fresher schnitzel elsewhere in town
Sides weren't tasty either.also real dry and without special flavor.my wife said sauerkraut and red cabbage tasted like the canned cabbage you can find in the store.
Probably best to go there for drinks only rather than food at this time.
Unfortunately I can't recommend this German eatery and won't be back

Absolutely Delicious Food, Fantastic, attentive , enjoyable customer service, provided by Ashley, wonderful atmosphere. We had the Best dining experience!

Schnitzel was overcooked and dry.even the microwaved pineapple and cheese on top didn't help.
People were friendly that's why we didn't say anything but the food was horrible.Worst German food we've ever had here in florida

A upcharge for credit card payments?that's redicilous
Food mediocre and most of it did not taste homemade.schnitzel which should be the pride of a place called grandpas schnitzel were soggy and didn't taste fresh.

This restaurant is not worth a visit, your money, or your time. The service is surly; the food is greasy. Make another German choice in Sarasota.

Tiny portions of sides.never had a German meal where I was still hungry afterwards.nothing special

This restaurant is new and will not last long. I enjoyed my German food. But, my server was surly, unfriendly and rude. When I asked him why, he told me to keep my gratuity and consider it "stiffing" him. Bad attitude. Hugely disappointing.

Sides not homemade.service slow.food took forever
No ambience and no outside dining

Dining room was almost empty.
We were excited to try this restaurant but honestly the worst german food experience.
redcabbage and sauerkraut tasted like the ready to eat cabbage out of glasses I used to buy at publix.unfortunately not homemade.same with the spatzele.what a disappointment.

We usually don't have a problem with a little wait but 45 minutes for two schnitzel.sorry no! The chicken was okay.Pork dry
Won't be back!

Understand that it was opening day.
They were not prepared. Much confusion & my schnitzel was burnt.
Was there for almost two hours & had to wait a long time for drinks and dinner was a very long wait.
Hopefully they will improve but if they don't I feel like they won't be around for long.

Drove by plenty of times before they opened thinking ...Oh this might be a great new place. I Came in alone with only two other tables sitting.
I sit by myself and ordered, told my waiter I'M IN A HURRY can you please put my order in asap cause I just want to eat and leave ! Didn't even get bread till like 20 minutes past ...BREAD ! What a joke ( that was a tell tell when it took 20 min for bread )
After repeated requests for where is my food 45 minutes later he tells me just a few more minutes!!!! What a bunch of amateurs they are ! I WALKED OUT after 50 minutes of WAITING cause my food wasn't served yet, and ended up just NOT eating cause I had to drive to Ft Myers and oh well.
This place just won't last cause they have zero business sense .
I just ordered a basic item on their menu nothing special.
So My rating is a big fat Zero point Zero , I'd go somewhere else if I were you. Amateurs
