I had two completely unsatisfactory meals here. Using coupons From Clipper magazine offering two coupons for $15 each with a $5 discount I decided to try it out. The first meal was shredded smoked beef over three half slices of hard stale toast covered with a thick brown gunk they call gravy. The mashed potatoes were also covered with a thick coating of brown gunk. I couldn't finish either and left my plate half full. The second meal was so called fish and chips. I asked for slaw instead of the chips and got about two ounces of slaw in a tiny cup. The onion rings were way overcooked with a thick hard batter covering them. The thin fish chunks were almost completely inedible... way overcooked and hard as a rock. I could hardly break them into pieces with a fork. I left almost all the food on the table. The only saving grace was their soup in both cases was pretty good. When I complained to the waitress she offered to get me another meal. I politely refused based on the low quality of the first meal. I asked her to say something to the kitchen but i don't know if she did or not. When I checked out the manager didn't say a thing. sorry but I Can't recommend this place to eat.
