Forget those bad reviews. The Elk Creek Inn is a local favorite, with folks driving out of town to savor their delicious food. The historic building is cozy and well-maintained, providing a comfortable atmosphere to enjoy a meal. My group had a fantastic time at the bar, indulging in incredible dishes and even getting treated to a shot by the owner. Can't wait to return while we're still in town.

We went to Elk Creek Inn last night as we had a long day and wanted a relaxing, environment. We were greeted by the new owner as soon as we walked in the door. He personally sat us, and when I said I was interested in wings, he made flavor suggestions based on their wings winning a local wing cook-off contest. Our order arrived in less than 15 minutes and the wings were amazing.

With the new owners at Elk Creek, I would definitely recommend trying this great local spot again. We can't wait to go back this weekend and take friends for the slow cooked ribs that everyone is talking about.

Check out all the violations before you go here. Service was terrible and food was poor quality. Would not recommend this place. We will never go again.

Well the place has changed drastically in the last month. They have all new cooks and great waitresses and bartenders! The music does not get played until 10 and your food will come out the way you ordered it. The place is really looking up and deserves a second chance

Stopped in for a beer after work. Although it was early in the day, 4PM, the country music was blasting like it was 10PM Saturday niter. I just wanted a beer and watch a little news. It was turned down for a brief time, but went up again shortly. It appears they want to cater to the tractor pull crowd. Too bad they don't figure out west county is the affluent area that will patronize a tavern that respects their intersts and tastes.

I ordered a Philly steak with no cheese peppers and onions i got a Philly with everything sent order back they did not remake the sub they just took off the cheese and reserved the meal. well that's a problem due to I am am allergic to cheese.
