These had to be the worst crabs I have ever eaten, we ordered one dozen medium and left half on the platter. They were light as a feather which is unusual for September when they are at their heaviest, the meat was greenish tinged, and they were stringy and tough, as if they were old crabs that had been re-cooked several times. I am originally from Maryland and have caught, steamed, and eaten crabs my entire life and these were definitely inedible.
