During a recent trip, I stopped for lunch at a local restaurant that was busy but welcoming, and I quickly found a table without any issues. The Club Sandwich with real turkey was flavorful and satisfying, and the prices were very affordable, though the coffee could use some improvement. The rustic decor, friendly staff, and delicious breakfast options like cream chipped beef and stuffed French toast make this a charming spot near Penn State with a cozy, hometown atmosphere.

Food is just OKAY. Portions are small for what you pay. I ordered the French toast a few yrs ago as it was supposed to have won an AWARD! There was nothing special about it. I think the owner needs to visit the WAFFLE HOUSE up in State College and see what a good breakfast consists of. You get a much better meal there for not much more in price!

Needs major updating of interior. Very few of these OLD places seem to take pride in keeping up with the times. RESTAURANT IMPOSSIBLE is needed in this area.
