I've been a loyal customer at K&J since moving to Philly. The food is consistently delicious and flavorful, with generous portions and great value for the price. The jerk chicken is tender, the curry goat is fantastic, and the sides like rice and peas, candied yams, and mac and cheese are all delicious.

My family and I have been eating here for years. Their food is always, always good - and better yet - their hours are really accessible. They're open until 8pm on Sundays. What more can you ask for? Better yet - they do FESTIVAL. Not many state-side Jamaican restaurants do Festival. Lastly, their beef patties are so good - they can't keep them in stock. Everything is good here, just like on the island. Highly recommend.

I WENT TO THE RESTAURANT ON A SATURDAY ON THE 2ND WEEK OF OCTOBER,2010 FOR A PLATTER. THE FOOD WAS SO GOOD, I WENT BACK THAT AFTERNOON WITH MY NEIGHBOR, AND WE SAT IN AND ATE ALMOST ALL THE OXTAILS IN THE POT. I COULD NOT GET ENOUGH, I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO FALL OUT AND BUST OPEN. I HAVE NOT HAD FOOD FROM THE ISLANDS THIS GOOD SINCE BACK IN THE 90'S WHEN JAMAICAN CUISINE WAS TASTING LIKE IT WAS MADE AND DELIVERED STRAIGHT FROM KINGSTON. I AM A YANKEE, BUT , MY TASTE HAS ALWAYS BEEN YARDEY!!!!!UM,UM GOOD!!!! CORINDA
