AMAZING

Don't get the Zelie Ruben. Was not toasted,was soggy, no saurkraut, hardy a piece of corn beef. Husband like the fish sandwich, but never received his coleslaw. Service was extremely slow. Not a fan.

It has been many years since I have driven for an hour to eat dinner. I have eaten at the Kaufman hotel some 20 yeats ago and believe me it is worth the drive. I enjoy a Pittsburgh Rare steak and the last one I really ate was at Sgro 30 years ago. Nobody in the area knows how to prepare a Pittsburgh Rare steak but the Kaufman House has mastered it., It was perfect, I am a person that dines out four nights a week USA Europe and South America I was so over joyed that I sent a tip to the sheaf,.Treat yourself and go to the Kaufman House for an exceptional Meal

Started off with a brand new waitress for our party of eight, why? She was very pleasant though.
Order was not correct, then came out with new plate, still not correct, finally after about 10 minutes order was corrected. My husband’s short rib was extremely cold, sent it back, came out hot about 15 minutes later. Just okay.
My shrimp with linguini was about $3 worth (if that) and charged me $22. Portion on second plate was much smaller than original plate.
After all this, no compensation, not even comping our dessert that we ordered. Apple pie ala mode, which was good, but they could not warm it because they had no microwave. Really??? Won’t go back.

Arrived on time for our 6:15 reservation, was told our table was being bussed, and 30 mins later we were still waiting. When we inquired we were brushed off by the 3 hostesses all who seemed to be overwhelmed and poorly trained. When we we were finally seated at a table we were told by the manager, “it was the best he could do on the fly.” That was after waiting 40mins!! Food was average to below abg at best. Won’t be going back.

The place was nice. The food we had was not very good. The best thing was the ranch dressing fir the bad fries.
