My friend Jean and my daughter Angie and I were looking for a place to go eat on Memorial Day. We decided to go to Lavern's Restaurant in Jefferson, Pennsylvania. We all had been there before at one time or another but not together. It's a quaint little place with the most adorable dining room. Old serving platters and plates line the top of the walls. You can guess what plates your Mother had or GrandMothers. We all ordered the same entrí©es Chicken Parm and deep fried mushrooms with a very fresh delicious salad with crispy garlic bread. Everything was so scrumptious!! Great coffee and a homemade apple dumpling with vanilla ice cream. My daughter ordered the Black Forest chocolate cherry cake. Those desserts were the grand finale of the excellent homemade meal! We loved it all! Thank you for not disappointing us Lavern's! We will be back!!! Promise x. ***** 5 stars from us! 9/5/22

Love this place,great food great service you sure get your money's worth.
Been there at least 20 times -- will go 100 more.

Was our first time here. Very good food , came out hot. Reasonable for a family and actually get a lot for your money. Cute place and great service! Will patronize again!
