A friend of mine really enjoyed our food there. We ordered the chicken Maria. The baked breaded chicken with Alfredo sauce was superb. It just melted in your mouth. However, the side of spaghetti with red sauce was very watery and not tasty. We had excellent service at our table and will definitely be back. I highly recommend the baked chicken that is breaded, provolone included with Alfredo sauce!!!!!! You won't be disappointed.

This is hands down the best place in DuBois. Staff is super friendly and on point. The owner came over to greet us and say hello. The food was delicious. We're from Philadelphia Pa and come for a month in the summer. We will definitely be making Luigi's a part of our summer from now on. Excellent place. Thank you

I have been coming here for years.
The owner rubs your back as a way of kindness nothing else. I love to have this done when I come in and miss it if he is not there. This restaurant treats you like family. It is my very favorite restaurant. Kindness is his goal and all the attendants. I have to see folks bashing him. 'this is just not acceptable. If you hate it then do not come in there and do not try to give him a bad name.

The special of the day, which happened to be a wrap, was cold. The fries were soggy. Owner (or who i assume to be) came out to talk to every table but wouldn’t keep his hands to himself. Started rubbing my back without warning, had to yell at him to stop. He went to do the same to my grandmother instead, and I told him not to or we were leaving immediately. He refused to leave us alone, got in our faces to whisper to us, made everything super uncomfortable. He asked where we were from, which I though was also creepy alongside previous actions. We left as soon as he left us alone. Pretty much ruined the experience.

We had dinner in your restaurant on Sunday evening August 5, 2020. First of all the food and the service were outstanding. My complaint is this: on the front door of the restaurant there is a sign that clearly states the you must have and wear a mask when entering and moving around in the dinning area. I counted at least 20 people entering and exiting the restaurant without masks. Nothing was said to any of these people. I do have a compromised immune system. However, I take all the necessary precautions when I go out in public and I would expect all others would be adults and do the same. I enjoy dinning at Luigi's. I am not from the DuBois area but I do manage to visit the restaurant at least once a year,
My point is that if your staff is not going to enforce these rules, then why even post the sign.
I truly hope the someone there in management , will address this issue for the safety of everyone. Thanks

We have eaten here many, many times. We love the food (great pasta, steaks and homemade bread), the service, the atmosphere...everything. A trip to Dubois always factors in a Luigi's stop and we wish we could give a rating of even more than five stars!

The food was very good traditional Italian food. The service was friendly and attentive without feeling rushed. This was a first visit and is a restaurant I look forward to going back to again.

Had eaten here many times but this was not a good experience. The server acted like she would rather be anywhere than here and boy do I agree with her. Service was poor but not as poor as the food. My wife and I shared the Italian trio. The meatball was burned and dry, the marinara had no flavor and the cheese tasted like a tasteless eraser. The cup of wedding soup had no greens or chicken and was very bland. When we told the server, she apologized, handed us a bill and was gone. A very disappointing meal.
