My friend from France was visiting and I wanted him to try a cheeestek, so I decided on Joe's. The cheesesteak did not disappoint. I asked her to put in in the pizza oven for a coupke of minutes to crisp the outside of the bread just a bit. Try it! The only thing I didn't like is, I ordered n order of breaded mushrooms for us to split. I couldn't believe i whn she sa i down before me ith only 5 mushrooms in it. Little ones at that. I'll still go for cheese steaks but I'll go elseware for my mushrooms.

We came here only because we had a starving toddler and the other places in the area were packed. I am glad we did. It was like stepping back in time in this place, which may be off-putting to some people, but I think it just added to its charm. The owner was nice, and our kids liked him. The bread for the cheese steaks were the softest ever. The sauce addition (tomato sauce - their signature) was good - I wouldn't usually get that on my cheese steak, but it was a good addition. Prices were very reasonable. The fries were great too - the oil was not old at all like I'm seeing in other reviews. Very good local place that I'd go to again when in the area.

Best Food in the Area!!! Mr. Joe's has amazing steak sandwiches that taste like sirloin steak not like cardboard. Also, they don't overwhelm the steak with too much onion. I've had it with cheese and sauce, their classic, but have also enjoyed it California style (mayo, lett, tom). Their chicken corn soup is homemade and is perfect on a cold winter's day.
